Criccieth Memorial Hall

The Hall is available for a range of occasions from concerts to weddings and is regularly used by a variety of organisations and individuals for different events.

This listed building was built with Public donations as a memorial to local residents who fought and perished during the First World War and now includes those who gave their lives in the Second World War.

The Memorial Hall was opened by local renowned statesman and former Prime Minister David Lloyd George in 1922, and still contains some original Art Deco features.

The Memorial Hall is delighted and proud to announce that we are working with Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor in revitalizing and improving its multi-media platforms; its website, facebook page and introducing itself to twitter and instagram.

The students and their lecturers will be using this experience as an actual part of their Baccalaureate program to benefit the Memorial Hall and the community. We are grateful to the number of students who have volunteered to help us and are excited to see the improvements from this knowledgeable and enthusiastic group of young people.

We are grateful to the College and the lecturers for their support and enthusiasm in helping us and look forward to a successful and long-running relationship
