About Cookies
Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit some websites.

Sessions
When you visit our site we may call a Session to be remembered by your browser for the time you are here. This is not stored like cookies and will be wiped from memory once the browser is closed. We may use the session to remember where you are on the site or aid you when filling out forms etc.

Cwcis – beth ydynt
Ffeiliau testun bach iawn ydi cwcis, sy’n cael eu cadw ar eich cyfrifiadur pan fyddwch yn ymweld â rhai gwefannau.
Gwneir defnydd eang ohonynt er mwyn gwneud profiad y we’n fwy personol, sydd yn cael ei ystyried yn beth positif ar y cyfan. Er hynny mae rhai cwcis yn casglu data dros sawl gwefan, gan greu ‘proffiliau ymddygiad’ o bobl. Gellir wedyn ddefnyddio’r proffiliau yma i benderfynu pa gynnwys neu hysbysebion i’w dangos ichi. Tynnu sylw at y defnydd yma o gwcis i dargedu, yn fwy na dim, ydi amcan y gyfraith. Trwy fynnu bod gwefannau’n rhoi gwybodaeth ac yn derbyn caniatâd gan ymwelwyr mae’n anelu i roi mwy o reolaeth i ddefnyddwyr y we dros eu preifatrwydd ar-lein.
Gallwch analluogi unrhyw gwcis sydd wedi’u storio’n barod ar eich cyfrifiadur, ond gall rhain rwystro gwefan rhag gweithio fel y dylai.
Sesiynau
Pan fyddwch yn ymweld â’n safle gallwn ofyn i Sesiwn gael ei chofio gan eich porwr dros yr amser yr ydych yma. Chaiff hyn ddim ei storio fel cwcis a bydd yn cael ei ddifa o’r cof wedi i’r porwr gau. Gallwn ddefnyddio’r sesiwn i gofio ble rydych ar y safle neu i’ch helpu wrth lenwi ffurflenni ayyb.
