Happy Birthday – 100 - June 2022 is Criccieth’s Memorial Hall’s 100th birthday

The birth of the War Memorial Hall was instigated by Prime Minister David Lloyd George, as a tribute to those who fell in the ‘War to end all wars’ to be built by public subscription and to be have value to the town of Criccieth

The Memorial Hall has held commemorations, celebrations, weddings, funerals, dances, discos, meetings, exhibitions, male strippers, martial arts, religious services, bingo, whist drive, attic sales, am-dram, pro-dram, choirs, opera, musicals and too many other thigs to list, as well as being at the cultural and geographical heart of the town

We've been able to buy a new sound desk, thanks to donations.
We've made a major upgrade to our sound system. Thank you to the Criccieth Sequence Dancers and the family of Nick Keane for donating the money that allowed us to buy this sound console.
